New England hospitality meets English tradition with our iconic hotel’s afternoon tea.
Saturdays & Sundays 2:30-4:30PM The Garden RoomOn April 4, 2011, after 15 years of dreaming, Alan and Jennifer Brinton opened Grey Sail brewing in the former Westerly Macaroni Factory at 63 Canal Street. Built toward the end of the 1920s, grain once again courses through the building. The first batch of Flagship Ale was brewed on 11/11/11.
Sit on any beach in New England and enjoy the views of rolling waves, glistening waters, and grey sails on the horizon… it is truly inspiring. Those grey sails inspired Alan and Jennifer to keep moving forward. The Grey Sail team says, ‘Brewing great beer is our passion. We want to share that passion with you.’
Guests will start the evening meeting the Chef and Grey Sail team with a 30-minute cocktail reception. All courses will be paired with Grey Sail’s local brews including Flying Jenny and Dave’s Coffee Stout to name a few.
